Players would get a feel of the game and I get critical feedback. What is the release date of the demo?October 16th 2026.What about an early access release?Bloody Duke will have a good ol' fashioned free demo plus a full release in the future.Come on, why isn't the game out yet?Being a computer engineering student means not having that much free time. Not having much free time means that development will be a bit slow, but I'm trying my best with what resources I have! Can I contribute to the development of Bloody Duke?At this time, no. Maybe in the future! This also includes the marketing side of things. Can I donate to aid Bloody Duke's development?I truly thought of making a fundraiser for Bloody Duke's development, however, I'd like to keep it self-funded.Does the game have a Steam page yet?YesWhat direction are you going with the game?Visually, I'm trying to make a dark fantasy game combining pixel-art with retro graphics. Story wise, it will be rich and deep combining elements of revenge and melancholy, testing the human will to the extreme. I can't say more because I want to avoid giving spoilers. Will there be cats in the game?Yes.Will the game have microtransactions? No! The video game industry should avoid them at all costs! Will the game have any DLCs?I have written the story in such a way that the ending is interpretive and that, if I wanted to, I could make a DLC to give the game a true finale whilst developing a secondary character. Yes, most likely there will be a single DLC, but in the far future.Where are you from?🇷🇴 Romania! That's why Bloody Duke will incorporate some of Romanian mythology. I also thought it would be unique and cool to represent it because there's a lack of it in media and man, do we have some dark and nasty stuff... perfect for Bloody Duke! What are your biggest inspirations? There are many but the main ones are: Dark Souls, Castlevania, Blasphemous, Berserk, Lord of the Rings.
